Roam: Mutts Cantina in Dallas, Texas
By: Lauren K.Figo’s Roam series features a pet friendly business or city. In this blog, Lauren reviews restaurant and patio, Mutts Cantina located in Dallas, Texas.
There’s something charming about cafés, pubs and restaurants that let diners bring their dogs along to sit with them on the patio as they chat and eat. Just me, my family and friends, and my loyal companion enjoying the fresh breeze amidst the restaurant chatter and the smell of burgers. But, I can’t help feeling that my dogs are incredibly bored. I look down at them patiently sitting on the ground under the table, and can tell that they are wondering when we are going to get up and go to the park.
At Mutts Cantina in Dallas, my dog is never bored because there is a one-acre, off -leash dog park right next to the patio.

I can relax with my friends and chat over some drinks while my pup is blowing off some steam in a spacious, grassy park right next to us. Also, I don’t have to deal with dogs under the table begging for a bite of your burger—did I mention that burgers are $2.99 on Tuesdays? They also has dog friendly items on the menu, like an Akita Banana Pupsicle.
Mutts Cantina has park attendants that offer fresh water and clean up after your pup while you enjoy your meal. It’s also a great way to meet other dog lovers from Dallas and surrounding communities. My dog and I can’t wait to go back!
