Exciting news! Figo was named 2021 Pet Insurance of the Year by the Pet Innovation Awards. You may be familiar with some of the other awesome Pet Innovation Award winners over the years like BarkBox, Chewy, Wag, Purina, and Kong.

The pet industry has been growing at an unprecedented rate. The Pet Innovation Awards aims to recognize companies that stand out in this densely crowded market through excellence and invention.

This year, the organization identified some interesting trends in the industry. Pet owners started spending more money on their pets during the pandemic, and those numbers have yet to drop off. Natural pet foods, products, and treats have hit an all-time high in popularity as pet parents are beginning to value a "health comes first" approach and strive for overall wellbeing for their pets.
